Welcome to Zion Lutheran Church
We are a community of believers gathered around God's Word and Sacraments,
sharing the story of the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ
for the salvation of the world. We have been serving the Hillsboro
community for over a century and look forward to the opportunity to serve
you as well. Zion Lutheran Church is a member congregation of the
Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod (LCMS). In addition to our preschool,
we are members of the Westside Lutheran School Association which owns and

• Garage Sale on Friday, July 30 and Saturday, July 31, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.
• Zion LWML sells Divine Chocolate bars after the Sunday service to benefit cocoa farmers in Ghana. Lutheran World Relief partnered with Kuapa Kokoo, a co-op of Ghana cocoa farmers, to establish Divine Chocolate which is the first farmer-owned chocolate company in the world in order to promote Fair trade practices and benefit their local communities. • Zion's Youth Bike Ride - Pastor Knepper will be leading a bike ride for the youth on July 19 on the Banks-Vernonia trail.
• Zion's Annual Campout - The annual campout for Zion members and extended families will take place August 18-22 at Ft. Stevens. If you have questions, see Tami Duyck.

nd Annual Harvest Festival- Saturday, October 30 at Zion. Wear your favorite costumes for a special contest and bring your creation of homemade chili. If

• Holiday Craft Bazaar- Saturday, November 6 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Zion.
